Tools in the international sphere

The Cendoj actively participates in the creation, organisation and maintenance of the following tools:

The Vademecum of International Judicial Assistance is a tool that has the participation of the members of the Spanish Judicial Network (REJUE), which contains the legal relationships of cooperation between the different States. It constitutes an instrument or guide that is simple and flexible, to provide answers to the questions that could arise in Civil or Criminal proceedings.
It facilitates the forms to use for issuing international letters of request and provides information on institutions that may offer supplementary support, and a contacts directory.
It plans action that is both active (request in the sphere of proceedings processed by a Spanish legal body) and passive (reception of a request originating from a foreign State).

It creates and maintains the database that collects the prejudicial questions put by the Spanish legal bodies before the Court of Justice of the European Union, selected by the members of the Network of Experts on European Union Law (REDUE).
It contains the different rulings issued during the proceedings, in order, together with values added by the Cendoj.
The database is accompanied by general information on the procedure for putting prejudicial questions in the five jurisdictional orders in which this network operates: civil, commercial, contentious-administrative, labour and criminal.

Furthermore, it participates in the dissemination and publication of La REDUE informa: it contains the gazettes created by the members of REDUE on new developments in matters of European Law application.

Lastly, it also coordinates the publication and maintenance of the foreign prejudicial questions database.
